By combining pressure and temperature, you can perform the extraction technique known as Rosin Tech, from which the famous resinous concentrate called Rosin takes its name.

To obtain the Rosin, or resin concentrate, the vegetable matter is pressed and heated so that the resin is exuded and freed from the trichomes. In the same way, it is also possible to press and extract resin from other previous extractions of the Iceolator type.

When your first home extraction is ready, remember that you can taste it directly by impregnating the cigar or using special pipes or bongs, although most consumers prefer to vape it after diluting it in mixtures of the E-liquid type.

Process:

- The Qnubu Press Pro Rot 10T press is Plug and Play, it plugs in and is ready to use.

- Then wrap the starting material in a mesh to prevent possible plant debris from coming out mixed together with the resin we are looking for. (We thus avoid having to have the patience to clean the extraction by hand later with the help of an awl). The mesh micron size is not decisive, but on the market they can be found from 20 to 160 microns thick. With non-stick paper we make a kind of envelope in which to insert the mesh that contains the vegetable matter. Next, we program the temperature in our pressure equipment and place our envelope between the plates of the equipment. Then we activate the equipment to press and heat for a certain time. The resin will come out through the mesh to impregnate the release paper in the form of small sticky amber droplets.

- The quality of the final product will be the result of combining the quality of the starting material with the three variables involved: pressure, temperature, and time.

- The essential oils known as terpenes, responsible for the smell and taste of the smoke of each variety, degrade easily at high temperatures. Many of them begin to degrade before reaching 60║C, while the rest of cannabinoids do not do so until they exceed 130║C.

- Taking into account that the pressure exerted is determined by the equipment we are using, up to 10T, in this case, thanks to its hydraulic operation, the user must seek the balance between the temperature and the pressure time invested, knowing that at a higher temperature the yield will be higher, but of less quality.
